Appartements-Restaurant Schwaiger

There’s a nice view from the terrace, and the menu includes regional specialties alongside the usual Wiener schnitzel. The food was tasty and solid, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They don’t take cards, unfortunately, though there’s an ATM close by. I came away with a positive impression of the restaurant.

The apartment was a fantastic size and had everything we needed. It’s right by the ski lift, too. We loved staying here and would happily recommend both the accommodation and the food.

The setting had beautiful views and a warm, welcoming feel, and the hosts were genuinely kind. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The people made us feel at home, and the food was exceptional. We had a wonderful holiday at Appartements-Restaurant Schwaiger and will definitely return. I’d recommend it to anyone after a peaceful break in a fairytale setting, with thoughtful amenities and excellent service.

Payment left me feeling cheated. Last year we paid by card without a problem, but this year we were told they only accepted cash. As soon as we said we had only a card, a terminal suddenly appeared. That inconsistency made me suspect possible tax evasion or some other fraudulent practice. The meal itself was disappointing too: the schnitzel was dry, the other food mediocre at best, and every dish took unusually long. I’d arrived at Restaurant Schweiger expecting a premium experience because of its positioning and traditional touches, like the waitress’s folk costume. The premium prices didn’t match what we got, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
