We'd been looking forward to skiing, but the room was a real letdown. It was tiny, very old, and clearly being used for storage. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, the towels seemed 40 years old, plaster had fallen onto the balcony, and there was dust everywhere. A room like this shouldn't be rented out. Please close it. I can only give one star because the form requires at least that to submit a review.

On Tuesday evenings there's music at the cabin, and admission is free. It's easy to reach from the town center, about a 20-minute walk. The Ausseerland cabin has a charming, cozy, distinctive atmosphere, with very nice hosts and friendly staff. The food is good and reasonably priced, there's a lovely beer garden to relax in, and a nice playground for children. Several hikes are possible, and the bike path runs right by the cabin. I'll be back!

Quiet spot, good price, and a great overnight stay. I'd recommend it.
