Apartment D was where we stayed for five days in mid-October, and we had an amazing time. We hiked Geierkogel and Hohewart, stopped by the Sportfreundehaus, and the Hohenwart Hut is an absolute must. The hut owner was friendly and the service was super friendly too. The apartments are beautifully placed and feel like home, with everything you could need, from board games to a raclette grill. They’re rustic, lovely, and clean. For anyone into hiking or mountain biking, it’s a great spot for a group. I hope we can find something available again at the end of January.
