I chose this place based on the ratings and was very disappointed. The accommodation and pools were okay, but the food was the reason we came, and it was average at best. It's all organic, but the taste was still only average. Half-board is terrible value for money. I'd give the accommodation four stars and the food one. Pathetic.

We had an apartment in the main building of the Biodorf, and everything we'd booked was there. The place was clean and quiet, and we had a relaxing stay. We always enjoy coming back.

The food was excellent and all organic, the beds were good, the rooms spacious, and everything spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly, and the price was attractive. Still, it was a mixed bag. The building felt completely outdated, with tiles from the early 80s, a shower in the bathtub, and only one elevator for the whole complex. There were lots of stairs, even around the rooms. Many service and reception staff seemed new, and some were completely incompetent. The thermal pool was small for the number of rooms, with just one small whirlpool. The room keys were old-fashioned, though they were high-quality security keys. There was no refrigerator, but there were two safes in the room. Bad luck for us, renovation work at the outdoor pool brought deafening, unbearable noise. Only after persistent requests did we get a free spa voucher. Guests also had to carry the buffet dinner from the first floor down to the ground floor themselves.
