Glashütte Bed & Breakfast

Even though I’d left my wallet, ID, and cards at home, checking in went smoothly. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and I’m very grateful for that great service. The rooms were clean and lovely. Breakfast was very good too, with any kind of egg dish made to order if you ask. Definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with coffee, tea, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, spreads, fruit, vegetables in cute little Rex jars, yogurt, jam, muesli, and plenty more. A friendly employee also made fresh eggs to order, including scrambled eggs, ham and eggs, or soft-boiled eggs. They were cooked just right and tasted great. We thought the prices were reasonable, enjoyed our stay, and would book again. The glass museum in the building and the glass shop downstairs are lovely extras. Our room was bright and spacious, the bed suited us well, and we had a TV and coffee machine. Coffee in the room was included for normal consumption, though I can't say more about that. The bathroom and toilet were perfect and very clean, and the room itself was clean too. The wardrobe wasn't to our taste, but that's personal preference. At first, the automatic check-in with no staff around took a little getting used to. It worked perfectly, though: we entered our name, found our room number right away, and printed two keys. The parking lot is locked and opens with the room key. This bed and breakfast is well worth recommending!

The area around here is really nice for walks. The location was good, our room was clean, and breakfast was very good.

We were on a motorcycle trip, and this was just right for our short stop: quiet setting, parking, and nice rooms with enough space. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, especially the excellent coffee. The people made it even better. The woman at breakfast and the cleaning ladies were wonderful, and our quick chat with the manager was both useful and entertaining. We felt well cared for. Thank you!
