We hiked straight up into the mountains from the house, first to the scenic alpine pasture where the cows spend the summer, then on snowshoes to the Schreiberesattel. The stay with the Meusburger family farm in mid-November was warm and friendly. The apartment was modern, beautifully renovated, and spotless, with mountain and green meadow views from the window. We also fed the chickens, petted kittens, listened to Mama Moo, and enjoyed the farm's cheese, yogurt, and eggs. Highly recommended!
