Berghof Vöglerbrand

It's very quiet up on the hill, and the view from the window is lovely. The owners are welcoming. Our large three-room apartment had a balcony, kitchen, shower, and toilet, with room for up to seven people. There were two large double beds, a single bed, and a bunk bed. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking.

We were a large group and got a warm welcome, with delicious eggnog. It's a fantastic, family-friendly modern house, and I recommend checking the website since the Google pictures don't do it justice. The top floor, with its bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms, is more modern and made the stronger impression. The middle floor has plenty of living space too. Upstairs there's a large dining area that also works as a living room. The natural surroundings and lovely views are a real bonus.

We brought our 6th grade class to the Metzler family's Berghof in Austria in late summer and had a fantastic time. The students still talk about those memorable days. We'd love to return!

The view was amazing, and the place was clean, well maintained, and spacious for our group of 12. The family running it is lovely. Bring your own toilet paper, though, since it's not included in the price. The dishwasher runs, but it doesn't clean the dishes properly at all, so be ready to wash them by hand.
