Zugspitzchalets

We could head straight out for a hike from these lovely little chalets. The hosts were really friendly, and there’s an infrared sauna as well as a barbecue area. A perfect place for an Alpine holiday.

We loved the daily bread delivery, the rolls were delicious. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and dogs are very welcome. The holiday home is beautiful, with great furnishings and everything we needed. Outside, there’s a little playground, plus a terrace where you can barbecue and relax. The area is ideal for lovely hikes, with several lakes and the Zugspitze mountain only a few kilometers away. I highly recommend the chalet.

We felt comfortable throughout our stay and really enjoyed the holiday. The chalet was spotless and had everything we needed, and the view across the meadows and mountains was stunning while we ate on the terrace. There are lovely walking paths for the dogs, and a grocery store is easy to reach. The well put-together information booklet had lots of ideas for things to do nearby. Fresh rolls and other treats can be delivered to the chalet each morning.

Walking to the forest and mountains from the chalet was easy, and we even spotted cows, sheep, and alpacas nearby. The road didn’t make much noise. The nearest cable car and/or toboggan run is about a 5-minute walk, and the shops are a 10-15 minute walk away. We’d needed a week off and chose Austria, which is how we found the Zugspitzen Chalets. Everything went smoothly, from booking through to arriving at the apartment. Ms. Schönherr welcomed us warmly, explained everything, and gave us holiday passes that saved us money at many attractions and activities. Then she let us enjoy her chalet, which was built with love and hard work. We highly recommend staying here. We wish the family all the best and hope to come back again. :) Best regards
