We found the staff very welcoming, and the apartment had plenty of space and everything we needed. There’s parking behind the building, with a supermarket and police station in the same building. A really nice place.

You can walk to the shops in the village, and there are restaurants nearby for nights when you don’t want to cook. The apartment is beautiful and makes a great base for places like Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, and Zugspitze, all just minutes away. There’s also a small wildlife park and a suspension bridge for anyone who isn’t afraid of heights, plus plenty more to see. I’ll add more pictures later 🙂

The apartment was spacious and clean, and we got a very friendly welcome. There’s a little village shop in the same building where you can pick up fresh rolls early in the morning. Everything else we needed was close by too.

Bichlbach was so peaceful and charming, with beautiful scenery, water everywhere, and lots of fountains to cool off by. It was clean too, and the dog waste was in the designated bins. Our favorite was Lake Heiterwang on a lovely day in June, and our dog enjoyed it too. We were there as a family with a dog and rented two lovely, spacious ground-floor apartments facing each other. We had a wonderful holiday with the Wacker family, and are so grateful for their hospitality. Ines at the village shop in the building was lovely as well. Everyone made us feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend it, and send our best wishes to the people of Bichlbach.
