There are plenty of pubs nearby, and I’d suggest stopping by Gasthaus Schützenhof, with its wood design, for a drink. We got a lovely welcome at reception. I’m sorry I forgot the lady’s name, but she was super friendly and helpful with check-in. The rooms are cozy and nice, and a good value for money. We didn’t have a view, and breakfast could be better, though it was still amazing. Hope to see you again.

The breakfast had a tasty range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that suited us Indians. We stayed here during a group tour of East Europe and found it comfortable and pleasant. It’s about 50 km from the main city, but the great view makes the stay worthwhile.

Thanks for the stay and service. One side of the bed had a noticeably sunken mattress with poor support, and I woke up with back pain. I hope the hotel considers replacing it for future guests.

A good spot to stay in Bischofshofen and enjoy the quiet of low season. The nearby railroad was completely unobtrusive thanks to the good insulation. Dog friendly, and breakfast was great.

Parking was a bit of a hassle, since there’s no free parking on site. There isn’t anywhere to park even for a quick check-in. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had no odor, and breakfast was delicious with a nice range of options.
