We were put in a room with nine classmates, but there were only four sockets for ten people to charge their phones. We had one toilet and two showers, whose showerheads were partly clogged, and the bathrooms had no working ventilation. The motion-sensing tap didn't work properly, and the water was off for three days. A regular tap would be better. The owner gave us an introduction in a fairly aggressive manner. One classmate also experienced unwanted touching when entering in ordinary outdoor shoes.

I've joined school ski trips at the Mauser Mühltaler five times now, and it's still my favourite place for a ski trip. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and really comfortable, and there's plenty of room for activities after skiing. Dinner is a highlight after a day on the slopes: hot soup, a tasty main course, a varied salad buffet and dessert. The food is healthy, plentiful and tasty, with fresh local products. The setting in the pretty village of Mauterndorf is very convenient, with buses nearby, a well-stocked supermarket and several little shops, including ski hire. I hope to stay here many more times!

The trampoline was cool, the outdoor park was nice and the disco room was amazing. I was here on a school trip. The food was OK, though they expected us to clean up, and the food staff were really rude. The mattress was very hard and comfortable, but the pillows were flatter than paper!

I had an awesome vacation here with kazou and had the time of my life. The staff were super nice, and people in general were lovely. The rooms were clean and pretty, with plenty of space, and the food was good. I got to try things I don't usually find back home. I'm glad I got to be part of this hostel and would definitely recommend it.

The building is beautiful, and the village is lovely, with lots to do in the buildings and around the grounds in both winter and summer. It worked really well for groups of all sizes. I brought a school group here for a ski trip, and the whole family, especially Christian, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food selection was yum!
