The breakfast was fantastic, served from 7 to 12, so you could go back for coffee around 10-11. The buffet had fresh juice you could make from fruit and vegetables, cold cuts and cheese, all sorts of coffee, fresh-squeezed juice, prosecco, and eggs made to order. The hotel's gorgeous setting is at the start of the pedestrian area in Sankt Wolfgang, and the private beach and wooden pier are fantastic. There are plenty of sunbeds, though they're quite close together. Some people still reserve them with towels in the morning, which staff should strictly forbid and monitor, but we could find a free one any time of day. The paddleboard stand has lockers for overnight storage, which is convenient. An electric pump to borrow would be a nice little improvement. We stayed three nights, Friday to Monday. You can pull up in front of the hotel to check in, then park about 800 m away in a public lot for 8€/day. A hotel minibus can take you there if needed. The only small downside was our room on level 15: it was rather small, the bed felt a bit tight, maybe 160 cm wide, and we missed having shelves or a closet. Overall, a very positive stay, and we look forward to coming back.

The room was spacious and modern, and the air conditioning was marvelous. It only works when the patio doors or windows are properly closed, which I initially thought they were. The shower is transparent glass, something we'd debated before booking, but it wasn't much of an issue in the end. The hotel has gone for larger rooms and no onsite parking, it seems. Attendants take you to the lot about 1/2 a mile away and bring you back, a minor inconvenience for a property this good. We chose this hotel partly because someone had complained that the AC worked too well, and ended up having a great experience. It's a modern place, so anyone looking for the charm of an older-style hotel may not find it here, but otherwise you'll probably be happy. The welcome centre is spacious. We arrived early, and staff stored our luggage in a closed-off area that didn't seem very secure. Nothing happened, but it was a little unsettling. We went to Schafberg, which I mentioned in my other comments and wouldn't miss. The train is right beside the parking lot, and hotel attendants could drop us at the station and collect us shortly after. The location, rooms, breakfast spread, and staff were all good. Breakfast overlooking Wolfgangsee on the patio was amazing, and the Austrian countryside looked just as you'd imagine. We also spent a great afternoon sitting off the deck. Don't forget your swimming gear.

The staff really stood out. There was fresh fruit in our room and at reception, the maids were timely and nice, and the breakfast servers were lovely. The parking attendants were especially nice and funny. Shoutout to Johanna, Jenny, Vanessa, and Lisa, who I spoke with most. They were always smiling, sweet, and helpful. My family loved this place, and we're planning to make it a summer holiday tradition after staying at plenty of nice, posh hotels around Europe. We found the hotel on another booking site, then booked through its website. It's usually used for events, but opens to the public from June to August, and we're grateful we got to stay. The location is perfect, with amazing views, an easy walk to town, ferries, and the cog train. The water was refreshing and the dock out on the lake was a great idea. I prefer the basic rooms to the sky room because some lower floors have bigger balconies. All the rooms have air conditioning and nice views, plus a good coffee machine. Returning guests get a small discount on future stays, which we've used twice. Prices are decent, especially with the breakfast included, which has plenty of options. The pool and sauna area are amazing, and the beach has SUP storage and bike locks available from reception. There's also a nice bar with fairly priced snacks. Kids enjoy the weekend water show, pool, and beach. For some quiet, there are private adult areas by the bar and for sunbathing. Parking has a shuttle in both directions. Drivers should slow down near the end of the tunnel and signal before turning left.

We visited with our 2,5-month-old. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts amazing, and swimming was lovely. A beautiful place for a family with a small child.

Pets aren't accepted, which seems quite unusual for a suite costing 700eur/night. The website clearly looks like it was put through Google Translate. The hotel's aim seems to be making guests ‘homesick’ ;)
