Kinderbauernhof Scharrerhof

We’ve been coming back for the 12th time, and we’ll come again. The apartments are beautiful, clean, and spacious, and it’s a great spot for a winter holiday, with the Kitzbühel arena for skiing and Panoramabahn just 1 km away. Thanks again, Angelika, it was such a pleasure to stay at your apartment. We had a great time!

Our child could walk straight from the Katzenberg apartment’s terrace into the garden, and there was plenty to keep little ones busy: go-karts, slides, a marble run, pony rides, a miniature train, and rabbits to feed. The terrace had a table, chairs, and a parasol. The whole farm is set up as a real adventure for kids, with so many things for them to do. The apartment had plenty of space and was very well equipped, including dishes, cutlery, glasses in different sizes and styles, a fridge, and an oven. There’s a barbecue area too. The bathroom was a good size, with a seat in the shower if needed. A little more counter space would’ve been nice, but it was manageable. The hosts were always friendly and helpful, answering our questions and sharing information about things to do nearby. We were all impressed and would love to come back. Everything was perfect.

We especially appreciated how much the hosts know about the area and how freely they shared tips for excursions. The family were friendly and dedicated, and really made an effort to make our stay enjoyable. A visit to the farm’s own alpine pasture was a special highlight, and you can meet the dairymaid there. Highly recommended! We stayed this summer with our two young children, aged 2 and 6, and their grandparents. The farm felt incredibly comfortable, like a real paradise for kids. The property was very clean and well maintained, and our holiday apartment was spacious, uncluttered, and perfect for relaxing. There are lots of play structures, and the go-karts were a hit with the children and even the adults. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with many regional and farm products, including milk from their own cows. Much of it is homemade, and you can tell. We’d wholeheartedly recommend the farm to families who enjoy nature, animals, and genuine hospitality.

The apartment had everything we needed, plus useful extras for little ones like a highchair, bed guard, and baby carriers. The hosts were friendly, and the whole farm was exceptionally clean. It’s a beautiful place, cared for with attention to detail. Our short break at Scharrerhof was wonderful. Pony rides and a ride through the village in a charmingly decorated horse trailer added something special for the children. We’d love to come back. Keep up the great work! Best regards.
