Breakfast was superb, and the room felt clean, comfortable, and intimate. Everything was impeccable. A warm welcome and a host who really pays attention to the details made the stay especially lovely.

The rooms are nice, but the old-building smell is horrible, like an old people's home. Avoid it if you have allergies.

We were welcomed so warmly, and the host was friendly and incredibly attentive. Every request was taken care of right away. Our room was spacious, lovely, and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was so generous that you should make time to enjoy all the dishes. Our daughter misplaced a stuffed animal. We searched the room and thought it had to be in the car, but called anyway as we were leaving. It turned up, and they mailed it home to us free of charge. We were so happy, and really appreciated that kindness. We'd love to stay again if we're in Purbach.

The beautifully furnished attic room had air conditioning, which mattered a lot in the summer heat. Breakfast was a lovely surprise, with everything you could wish for, served in the green courtyard. We spent four nights at the Nikolauszeche and felt completely at ease. The welcome was so friendly and helpful, and the owner was attentive and happy to see to all our wishes. We'd gladly return if our health allows.

We had a lovely day. The staff were really friendly, breakfast was great, and the hotel was romantic and clean, just like the photos.
