The boys played their traditional folk music after we got back, and I got to sit with the family for a drink or two. Earlier, they’d pointed my son and me toward a great Fish Haus for dinner. We stayed with the family Hofer a few summers ago, and they were so warm and kind to us. Sorry it took me so long to write this. Hope we can visit again soon. Warmest thanks to the family Hofer :)

We had a lovely holiday here. The apartment had two rooms, each with a double bed and its own bathroom, plus a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean, spacious, and cleaned daily. Breakfast was generous and Austrian-style, with fresh pastries every day. The hostess was very nice and helpful, and the guesthouse is right by the ski slope. ❤️

You can head straight out to the ski slope behind the house, which makes starting and finishing a day on skis really easy. The host family were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are simply furnished, but the furniture is new and practical.

We really wanted a room with a view of the gondola, but it had already been booked. The apartment with that view was still free during our week, so they let us have it as a complimentary upgrade. Wow, thanks Maria and Cilli!! They also let us charge our EV under the canopy with a Granny charger. Since the car sat unused all week, the charging was allowed to take a few days :-) The location is fantastic, right beneath the gondola to the ski area. After breakfast you can ski out, and at the end of the day the valley run brings you back to the cottage. It was lovely to use the sauna and then walk into the village for something to eat.

This January will be our second ski holiday visiting the Hofer family. The guesthouse is in an unbeatable spot, right by the valley run, and only a five-minute walk from the valley station and the nearest après-ski hut. The rooms are pleasant and everything is clean. Breakfast has all the basics you need. I can definitely recommend the Hofer guesthouse!
