The waiter took so long to come over that we eventually left the table and went to pay. I told him I’d found pork in my vegetarian meal about a third of the way through and hadn’t eaten any more. He said he’d speak to the kitchen, but after waiting ages we gave up. At the hotel reception, the woman there, who seemed to be the owner, was aggressive from the start. When we said we didn’t want to pay for the dish, she insisted I’d eaten half, said the pork was too small to matter, and called me hysterical for saying that wasn’t fair. Her offer was a €6 discount. This was easily my worst experience with both food and service. I’ve never been treated so badly at a restaurant, and I’m shocked they can run a business this way. Don’t spend your money here. I wouldn’t go back even if someone paid me.

The waiters were so friendly, and the place felt relaxed and homey. The kaiserschmarrn was the best I’ve ever had. I only wish I’d had room for another serving!

Such a lovely old building, with friendly staff and good food. A really nice place.

The service missed a few things, like the salt and pepper we asked for, but the food was tasty. We had Käsespätzle and Zwiebelrostbraten, and would still recommend eating at Lukashansl.
