Lukasmayr Hotel

We especially enjoyed the generous breakfasts, soup for a snack, and really good dinners. The hotel has lovely big rooms with balconies, plus a cozy bar where you can have mixed drinks by the fireplace. We'd gladly come back.

The views from the back were lovely, and the staff were friendly. We paid $121/night, which felt reasonable for the area, and the place works as a basic bed and breakfast. But our room was dated, with a dark brown bathroom that felt like a cave. Only about six TV channels worked. The bed was very low and uncomfortable, the pillowcases were awful and paper thin, and there were flies everywhere, three in our room and more than five around the breakfast buffet, landing on the uncovered food. I wouldn't stay again because that bed was so uncomfortable.

We had a good breakfast and found plenty of parking behind the hotel. The staff were polite, and there was a nice bar with an open fire. On Christmas Eve we were welcomed with a generous buffet. It's a pleasant family-run place with an Alpine feel, though the rooms could use an update. The mattress was one of the worst I've slept on in a long time.

ETL is a lovely place, and the staff were very responsive. The location and the price for the quality both impressed me. I'd recommend a visit. Five stars.
