The food was okay, but far too salty. As a guest, I didn’t feel valued here. It’s a hotel with business rooms, but they weren’t willing to help set up an impromptu meeting with a desk or table. When I asked about these issues and tried to explain, the communication was very unfriendly. The bar’s stated opening hours weren’t accommodated when I asked either.

The rooms are nice and have beautiful views, but both times I’ve stayed here, I waited 45 minutes to check in because my room wasn’t ready. The service needs to improve.

Our balcony faced the Rathaus and Schlossberg. It’s a five-minute walk to the Stadtzentrum, then another 20 minutes up well-kept hillside stairs to the parapet of the Bruck an der Mur Schlossberg. The reception, terrace, quiet library, and restaurant were all wonderful.

The scenery was a highlight, with the river right beside the hotel in Bruck city and mountains all around, whether we were in the lounge, our room, or the restaurant. Staff were very helpful with information and other support. At breakfast, the cakes stood out from the buffet.

A comfortable hotel in a lovely spot, and we could park for free in the garage. Breakfast was good, with almond milk as well as regular and soy milk, the first place on our week-long trip to offer it. There was no air conditioning in the room, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work there.
