The apartment hadn't been cleaned at all, with the previous guests' dirt and mess still there. After an exhausting 11-hour trip with a baby and loads of luggage, we arrived to find no reception and our name missing from the key boxes. We had to work out which box was ours ourselves. Getting help from Landal Chalet Matin was nearly impossible. Once we finally reached someone, there was almost no sympathy for our situation, and it took far too long to get into a clean apartment. Absolutely disgraceful. On top of that, the church bells ring loudly each morning, making it hard to rest. With the poor support we got from Landal, I strongly advise against choosing Landal Chalet Matin.

The view over the valley from the balcony was beautiful, and the floor heating and nicely designed bathrooms stood out most to me. We visited in May 2017 through a timeshare exchange and found the new accommodation clean and pleasant. The keys were in a box marked with our name at the entrance, so check-in is self-service, with no one there in person. Google Maps sent us to the upper hotel, where even the kind receptionist was confused about where this address was. While in town, visit Milka factory outlet for discounted sweets and a pink 🐄 photo shoot.

The six-person apartment was spacious, very clean, and fully equipped. Parking was easy, both in the garage and on the street. The ski lift is within walking distance, but skiing down depends on having good snow. Most Landal facilities are 3 km uphill at Brandnertal, so you'll need 4wd or snow chains if the weather turns.

The apartments are very large, clean, and well equipped, with lovely views. The restaurant across the road is great, though there aren't any bars nearby.

No towels are provided, as others have mentioned. The room is a good size for a ski resort, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest lift.
