The sauna has a lovely mountain view and never felt too crowded, though I wish it stayed open past 19:00. We also had a pleasant forest walk by the river in the evening. We come here each December around Christmas, and the hotel’s right by the ski slope with rental almost next door. The staff are warm and accommodating, and the snack from 3 to 5 can be sweet or savory. Dinner is a good five courses, and breakfast has fresh honeycomb and plenty of bread. A two-person duvet would be better for the bed, and it would be nice to hear different music at breakfast and dinner.

Dinner was a highlight, especially the exceptionally tender meat, and breakfast was generous too. The staff were very friendly, and our room was spacious and lovely. I stayed four nights. The hotel is close to the ski route leading to the lift: about a 50 m walk to start, then you can ski almost all the way to the ski room. Highly recommended.

The free Wi-Fi worked well, and the place feels quite modern. From the ski room, which opens onto the street, it’s just a short climb of a few metres to the slope.
