The house is lovely and would suit families with children very well. The village itself is small, though, and getting out for a hike can be difficult. Trails are hard to find because the signage is poor or missing, and there’s little parking. I also wouldn’t recommend walking a dog here, as grazing cattle mean you can’t even get two metres away from the fence.

If you’re after a quiet holiday, this is an ideal place. The area is beautiful and we had lovely weather throughout. We had a very nice stay.

Really great spot, very well equipped, and the landlord was exceptionally friendly.
