The mountain drive to the hotel was an interesting part of the trip, and the scenery there is wonderful. Worth a visit.

We came across this place by chance and really enjoyed it as a vacation spot. The restaurant food was very good, especially the fluffy pancakes. We couldn't stay at the hotel this time, but I hope we can come back and spend a few days there.

There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, both with a lovely mountain view. We stopped at the restaurant during the three-hour hike to Ebnitz. If your Karren Lift ticket came with a voucher from the lift company, you may be able to get a complimentary plate of bread and cold cuts, but check whether the offer is still valid. The staff were friendly. Buses leave downhill at :30 each hour, and you get a nice view of the gorges on the way. The Rolls Royce Museum is at the bottom of the mountain, where the bus stops.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. From the room, the views are spectacular, and it's easy to get to the hiking trails up the mountain.
