The hotel is in a lovely little historic town by the river, and there’s free parking right in front. Service was nice, but the rooms and restaurant both feel rather outdated. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The cleaning lady started waiting just outside our door at 9:30, even though checkout wasn’t until 11:00, which bothered us.

We stayed for 3 nights, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Can’t wait to come back. The corridor is lined with interesting original paintings and artifacts that tell the story of this old monastery. The large room was clean, and the toilet was clean and stocked with the essentials. The design may not be the most modern, but the room easily beats some 3/4-star rooms in the city. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Reception helped us find places to visit and arrange e-bikes, housekeeping was attentive, and the restaurant staff were nice. Shoutout to Goran for his service. Breakfast and dinner were simple, with a good spread and quality items. I enjoyed a glass or two of sekt in the morning. Dinner was nice too, and the whole roasted river trout was fresh. My only complaint: the caesar salad had way too much sauce. Maybe get it on the side.

The Terrace Restaurant left us underwhelmed, which was our only disappointment. The hotel itself has an old-fashioned touch of luxury, with excellent service and fantastic breakfasts. 4 stars, not 5.

We had an outstanding two-night stay. The town was peaceful and quiet, and the view from the window was beautiful. The room was very clean, nice, and comfortable, with a modern, well-equipped bathroom and a spotless bathtub. The staff were very friendly and eager to help, with service at a 5-star standard.

The location was amazing, and the garden was really nice. Rooms were clean, service was friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The rooms can get a bit warm, but it was okay.
