Dogs have plenty of room to run and play in the snow here. Dogs Universe and Murphy, the Border Collie who greets you, are both lovely, and Murphy is especially fluffy and playful. The host is warm, welcoming, funny, and just a nice guy. We also loved the quiet setting, mountain views, and delicious breakfast. Ischgl is a 10-minute drive away; the free ski bus stop is a pleasant nine-minute walk downhill. We had a great time and will be back. 🫡

We came with our five-year-old and had a clean room with a balcony and lovely views. The bus stop is only a few minutes down the road, and buses run quite regularly to the Ischgl ski lift or Kappl. A big breakfast before heading out was just right. Mathias is a funny, friendly and welcoming host who's happy to help. We hope to come back!

The little shared room was useful beyond breakfast: it has a kitchenette, tables, corner sofas, and a TV for relaxing in the evening. Drinks including beer, wine, and soft drinks are available in a fridge to buy at standard prices. We stayed over spring break as two adults with two teenagers, and found this a fantastic guesthouse about a 10-minute drive from Ischgl. The owner was very welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. We'd happily return.

The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk away, with buses every 30 minutes. Ischgl is about 6.5 km away and Kappl town around 2 km. We spent three nights at Matthias Petter's with our dog Odie, and everything was perfect. The room and breakfast were excellent, and the landlord was friendly. A great fit for a holiday with a dog!
