Haus Wildbach

There's loads of space, it's clean, and the apartment is really well equipped. The ski bus stops 50 m from the house. Ischgl is 7 km away, below the A1 gondola lift.

The standout for me was how well equipped the kitchen is. It has a dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. There are enough good-quality dishes and cutlery for a full dishwasher load, plus a proper knife set, a non-scratch Teflon pan, and the other cooking utensils you need. I've never stayed anywhere else with a kitchen stocked this well. The beds are very comfortable too, which my damaged disc appreciates. Wi-Fi works throughout the house and is extremely fast, with an upload speed I measured at 86 Mbps. Every living room and bedroom has a TV. Haus Wildbach has six apartments in Kappl-Wiese. It's quiet and about 2 km from the village center. The ski bus stop is only 30 m away, while the bus service to Landeck and Galtür is 750 m from the house. During the season, buses from Landeck run every 30 minutes, and the ski buses from the village to Ischgl run every 5-10 minutes. The property is well maintained, the apartments are high quality, and the place is set up with sustainability in mind. There's also a sauna on the ground floor for €10. That's an extra charge, though some other landlords may not charge for it. I recommend giving it a try at the start of your stay. It's a designer sauna, and I don't think €10 to use it is expensive. Parking is available around the house, and there's a large drying rack and storage racks for ski equipment. The apartments are very clean and well equipped. The property is in the Bach area of Kappl, a little away from the busy spots, with a mountain stream running nearby. The ski bus stops right outside, making the Kappl gondola easy to reach. If you're driving to Ischgl, the valley road is next door. It's steep and narrow, but cuts travel time quite a bit.

The place is super clean and well maintained, and you barely hear the sawmill. Everything seemed nearly new, from the good mattresses to the bathroom. Ask for towels and they'll bring them straight away. It also works really well for families with children.
