The bedrooms look out over the water, and the apartment is beautiful, with a kitchen for cooking your own meals. The host let us park in their garage, and breakfast is available for 11 euros. It’s quite close to the tiny village, so you can walk around and explore the cafes, museum, and shops. Planning to come here again.

The room was really clean and comfortable, and the hosts were so warm and thoughtful. Breakfast was amazing too. I do like Spitz more, but I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in the Wachau valley.

A lovely family, and a great place to stay by the Danube in the Wachau. They have rooms for rent too. The food was delicious and the wine was tasty. I’d especially recommend the 2017 Muskateller. One of the best proper Heurigen in town!

The hosts made the whole holiday feel welcoming and family-like, and shared tips for hikes and excursions. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had all sorts of things, from fruit, muesli, cold cuts and yogurt to a choice of rolls. The owner even brought us coffee and freshly cooked egg. Our stay was unfortunately too short, and we’d love to come back.

It’s a great base for hiking, cycling, or just taking leisurely walks. We really liked the beautiful room, the generous breakfast, and the friendly hosts. There was also a large selection of excellent wines. We’ll definitely return.
