A lovely place to unwind in nature, with very friendly service and spotlessly clean rooms. It also makes a great base for exploring.

There are lots of hiking routes nearby, and a fantastic waterfall is practically around the corner. Ebenau itself is a charming little town, with Lake Fuschl and Salzburg city not far away. There's a bus stop, an ATM, and two inns close by. There's meant to be a bakery too, but it was on vacation during our visit. Ferienhof Waschlgut is lovingly run, and the small breakfast was delicious, with a different little surprise at the buffet each day. We had a wonderful week here and I highly recommend the farm.

The rooms are plain but roomy and very clean, and much of the milk and cheese comes from the farm. The location works well for trips around the beautiful Salzburg region. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home.
