Villa Taube

The Taube house is handy for excursions, but the apartment gets cramped quickly with four people and seems better suited to two. It might feel cozy with better cleaning. There was dust, cobwebs, and dusty upholstery when we stayed. The bathroom is tiny, the shower tray wasn’t clean, and the water doesn’t drain properly, so you end up standing in it. More care and maintenance could make a big difference.

It’s a beautifully renovated house, but we were mostly cold because the electric radiators were set very conservatively. We eventually fixed that by buying firewood and using the fireplace. The bathroom water only dripped out very slowly, which made showering quite difficult.

We stayed in the hutte taube apartment and found it neat, clean, and really cozy. The gondola is close by, and everything else was walkable too. Great location, and I’d happily come back.

The apartment was really nice and had everything we needed. It’s just a three-minute walk from the Stubnerkogel cable car, and you can ski right to the door.
