Hotel Obermayr

A simple room with a super comfortable bed, just right if you're mainly there to sleep. The location is beautiful and rural, but Salzburg city centre is still only a 25 minute drive away. The staff were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. Ask which days and times the kitchen is open, as it’s closed sometimes. There’s also a local restaurant in Ebenau, about a two minute drive away. The main issue was the dust on top of the wardrobe and shelves. I only noticed when I needed more storage, and it looked like it hadn’t been wiped for a while. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are lovely, and the area is gorgeous for hiking and canyoning. The city is close enough if you want to shop too. I’d stay again.

The surroundings are stunning, right among the Alps and beside beautiful pine trees. The owner has a real passion for hunting, and canyoning is also possible here. Rooms are comfortable, with a cozy, rustic restaurant and a wonderful staff. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious and worth every penny. A wonderful hotel 🔥

We were a group of 17 and they were very accommodating. The food and service were amazing, and the hotel's location and quality for the price are unbeatable. Maximilian was the nicest host I’ve ever met and made our time in Austria so nice and fun. We’d definitely recommend it and will be back!

We stayed in a cozy hotel with warm decor, tucked into a quiet little valley of green pastures that really felt alpine. The service was friendly and very good, the room was well equipped, and the kitchen served very good food at fair prices. Breakfast had plenty of high-quality choices too. The price was fairly low, and I’d recommend the hotel for a stay of any length. There was one small problem in my room: the full-glass balcony door was also the only window for letting in fresh air, but it had no mosquito net. When I left it open, mosquitoes came in through the big opening.
