I booked the wrong date by mistake and tried to change it, but they said there was no capacity. Even so, they demanded high cancellation fees when I felt they could have been more accommodating. It seemed like they just wanted the money without making any effort. About the October 6 reply, what exactly is “untrue”? Which part of my comment is wrong? I called and explained what had happened. You told me a free cancellation wasn't possible because I booked through Booking.com and they wouldn't allow it. You said it wouldn't have been an issue without Booking.com. But Booking.com did offer that option, and YOU rejected the request. I understand being strict if someone cancels at short notice because they've found somewhere cheaper. But this was a wrong click on the date. I admit that, and I've never denied seeing that free cancellation wasn't available. In the end, I stayed in a large, new, very nice hotel in Eggenburg.

The Luise Suite looked lovely, and I spent three days there. Before check-in, I got a call with all the key information. A young woman welcomed me, showed me around the apartment in detail, and went over the important things again. Excellent host, TOP.
