Berg Chalet Breitenberg

The balcony view is something special. The apartment is clean and neat, with modern, new furniture, and the owner was friendly and helpful. It’s part of a chalet on the upper floor, so you’ll need to use the stairs.

The ski storage room is fully equipped, which made this a great place for skiing, and the valley view is lovely. The apartment itself is modern and stylish, in a handy spot between Dorfgastein and Bad Hofgastein. The host was friendly, reliable, and quick to act on small suggestions for improvement.

The sunny, wide-open view over the Gastein Valley made it easy to relax. The apartment was comfortable and cozy, with everything we needed, and the landlord was clear in communication and helpful with questions. Hofgastein train station sits at the foot of Breitenberg, so public transport gets you there easily. The uphill walk to the mountain chalet takes stamina and decent fitness, though. In winter, snow chains are strongly recommended. The road is cleared during the day.

We spent 10 lovely days here and hated having to leave. The apartment was cozy, beautifully equipped with all the necessary extras, and very modern, with an impressive view into the valley. The owner was so nice and answered every query very quickly and to our satisfaction. We’ll definitely rent it again, and I can recommend it without hesitation!
