We had a very successful holiday in Bad Gastein and enjoyed staying at Haus Burgman. The ground-floor apartment sits on the corner of a quiet street, with only local traffic, and several hiking trails start right outside, which was ideal with our dog. It was clean and tidy, and the apartment has room for 6 people. The new double bed is soft but very comfortable. The kitchen has most utensils, even a cheese slicer, and plenty of crockery and cutlery. There’s a large corner sofa, several armchairs, and fleece blankets for relaxing evenings. The lockable porch is handy for wet shoes, skis, and ski boots, though it isn’t heated. Contact with the owners was always easy and pleasant. We could ask questions over WhatsApp and got several tips for the area. One small decor thought: the apartment still sounds a little hollow, so perhaps more wall decoration could help. The area is beautiful, and we enjoyed some lovely walks with the dog. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and fully equipped. Whenever we had a question, the homeowner replied right away and took action when needed. We also appreciated the suggestions for restaurants and activities. We’d definitely recommend it.

The landlord was very pleasant to deal with, and the modern, beautiful house was clean, cozy, and fully equipped. The village is close to all the slopes and easy to reach by car or bus. Definitely recommended!

We really liked this apartment. It’s spacious, with a big sofa in the living room, a dining room, a separate kitchen with everything needed to make meals, two bathrooms, and a roomy dressing room. With two children, they can each have their own room or share the room with bunk beds. The apartment is in a quiet part of Böckstein, with Sportgastein a few minutes away by car and Bad Gastein even closer, making it a great base for skiing. The owners were excellent to deal with and answered all our questions quickly. I’d happily recommend it.

We felt very comfortable in this lovely apartment just outside town. It’s easy to reach by ski bus, and the landlords are friendly.
