My son came with me, and his constant sleep talking didn’t annoy me at all. The apartment was very clean, and I got home rested and refreshed, without any nightmares about necking schnapps and risking my life on the Aeroplan nighttime toboggan run. At Monuth Mansions, I spent an enchanting week watching my friend do exemplary naked lunges in the well-appointed wellness area while I sweated it out in the beautiful sauna. The Monuth Monolith is only a short hop and skip from the Schlossalm and the buttock-testing Horseshatter run. Another friend procured a Rockwood Grade 3 shoulder injury, which I’m inordinately jealous of, and frankly he should be proud of. We’ll be back!

The ski bus stops right outside, and there’s a beautifully modern, inviting sauna and steam room in the basement. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with fantastic views. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in Bad Hofgastein.

We’d love to come back. The hosts’ warm hospitality really stands out, and the building is wonderfully central. The apartments are spacious, have stunning mountain views, and offer every comfort.
