The Zugspitze region is a great place to explore from here. The host was friendly, and the place had everything we needed.

The interior feels a little dated, but it was perfectly fine for a few days of skiing. The place is nicely situated on the main street, within walking distance of the centre.

Getting around Ehrwald without a car worked really well. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away and the train station is about ten minutes on foot, with plenty of great places reachable by public transport. Our apartment was clean and cozy, with a lovely view. The hosts made us feel welcome right away. They were thoughtful and helpful, answered questions promptly, shared tips, and had a useful selection of excursions in the room guestbook. We were thrilled with our stay and would happily come back. Musical greetings :-)
