The later room we were offered was much more comfortable, with a softer mattress and renovated bathroom, and the hotel was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Still, the first room felt dated for around €230 a night: the bed creaked, the TV was tiny, and to us it didn’t meet the current standard for a hotel at that price, especially a 4-star property. Given the description and cost, we expected more. After the first night we wanted to shorten our stay, but management refused any change “on principle,” even after Booking.com support tried to mediate. We also found it odd that the hotel seemed almost empty while its lowest room category cost more than twice the indicative website price. Spa hours were limited too, Saturday from 4:00 pm and closed all Sunday. That surprised us because we’d been told we could spend time there if the ski area proved too beginner-oriented for our expectations or Ehrwald felt too quiet. With more flexibility and a more solution-focused approach, the stay could have left a much better impression.

The sauna was nice, and they were very accommodating with my dog. The location is perfect, the staff were amazing, and the food was delicious. I especially liked how the cooking brought Austrian and Asian cultures together. The hotel exceeded all my expectations.

The restaurant food delighted us, and the whole property was spotless. The owners were actively involved in making sure the staff gave guests the best possible service, which was outstanding. Every part of the stay was superb and made an unforgettable vacation for my fiancé and me. We’re grateful for the lovely memories. Thank you!

The setting and nature are beautiful, and even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, everyone at the hotel tries to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is amazing, and the staff are so pleasant and friendly, always very willing to help with our wishes. It feels like home. This is my favorite hotel in Zugspitze Arena, and it’s the only one I plan to return to. I recommend it wholeheartedly. That’s what customer service should look like. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

We had a lovely five-night stay with the kids. The room was quiet and had a nice mountain view, and the rooms were clean. The food was very good, and the people were friendly. Free bikes made it easy to explore the beautiful area, and the wellness facilities were a good way to unwind after a day in the mountains. Several measures were in place for a safe stay despite Covid19, and everything felt OK. One small thing, the WiFi wasn’t always stable, so 4g worked better.
