We picked this place for three nights of hiking nearby, and it worked out really well. The two-bed room was cozy and clean, while breakfast was simple but tasty and enough for us. Evelyn, the owner, was friendly and attentive. It’s a great base for outdoor plans like the Zugspitze or Ehrwalderalm, and the price for what you get is very good.

The breakfast conversations with other guests are unforgettable, and I’ve stayed here both for hiking and on a motorcycle trip. The guesthouse sits at the foot of the Zugspitze, with a warm, welcoming feel throughout. Evelyn and Gary are lovely hosts, and the place is very clean and well kept. I’ll definitely come back. 😃
