Landgasthof Seeblick

The staff were nice, but almost everything else was disappointing. Our room was much too small, and the so-called bathroom was about the size of the room's closet. I actually opened the closet door expecting it to be the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable, and the TV was incredibly old, with only 16 channels, none of them good, and 7 or 8 that were audio only. We could hear everything, though we were the only guests in the hotel. Warm water took 5-8 minutes to reach the first floor, which I just can't understand. Breakfast was mediocre and had too few choices. The snacks were way too expensive, and we paid way too much for so little. They didn't even provide water, which might make sense since a bottle costs 3.50 euros, an insane price when water costs basically nothing, or at least 1 euro a bottle. I may have forgotten something, but just don't come here.

The mountain view is amazing, and the hotel is in just the right spot. Staff were really friendly and helped us with a very late check-in. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, everything you could want. It was the best breakfast of our whole trip. The rooms were clean and had enough facilities for us. A really good hotel!

We'd just paid for our two-night stay. The place is nice and easy to reach by bus from Bregenz, and the breakfast was good. The staff were nice, too. But we barely slept either night. Noise from the hall and old wooden stairs came straight through the room doors. On the second night there was a wedding, and guests woke us three times, once at 4.20 AM while talking in the hallway. On the first evening we also found four fairly large spiders in the room. These things can happen, but we'd politely reported the problems, so a little discount at checkout would have seemed fair. Instead, we got an “I'm sorry” and a bill that also charged us for two extra beers and two coffees we'd had during our stay.

Tasty food, clean rooms, and staff who were friendly and helpful.
