I expected more from a hotel restaurant with a history going back to 1926, when the current owner's family took it over. The food was okay, but nothing special. That might have been manageable if the waiter hadn't been arrogant and insulting. They also only take cash, which is a real problem these days, especially when competing restaurants in the village readily accept credit cards.

The food was average and felt more like mass production. If you don't mind being insulted by arrogant staff, this is the place for you.

There are very good menus and the staff are super friendly. The rooms are clean, and there's a market right across the way where you can buy food.

The food and service were top-notch. Our only issue was the table beside the bar: the final part of the cattle drive was being celebrated at the next table, and it was very loud and disturbing. We couldn't move into the next room because we had a small dog with us, even though we were allowed to eat there quietly last year. The profile says pets are welcome, so why couldn't we use the next room?
