Apparthotel Tom Sojer

A super stay, with such friendly and welcoming hospitality. Thanks, Maria. See you next year. Phil & Kara

The rooms and equipment were better than we expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. These are smart self catering apartments, with the ski bus and a shop both a short walk away. We cooked for ourselves, so didn't try breakfast. A great base for skiing in Ellmau.

The town does a great job clearing snow and keeping roads and other areas accessible. Ellmau's infrastructure is very well organized, and after three days here, our stay has been pleasant. The house and rooms are in good shape, and the owners and staff are kind and helpful. You can tell they want guests to be comfortable and well looked after. Apparthotel Tom Sojer deserves recognition, and I'd very much recommend staying here. Prices are reasonable too. They work with local places to offer discounts on ski rentals and morning bakery bread, among other things. There's also a relaxing cafe, sauna, small fitness room and other facilities. 👍

The walls are paper thin, so you hear everyone. The garbage truck comes by right outside the room at 6 am. There's no AC, so you have to leave the windows open, and then the truck, dogs or whatever else is going on in the street will wake you up. We could never connect to the internet, which made it impossible to work. The front desk was completely unhelpful and actually aggressive. They refused to let us cancel the rest of our stay and threatened to call the police if I didn't sign for the remaining payment, lol. Insane. Stay far away from this hotel.
