Haus Harmony - Rübezahl

The apartment was clean and furnished in a modern style. It was advertised for up to eight people, but there really wasn’t enough room for that many. Two bedrooms were in the basement, and two of the four sleeping rooms were also passage rooms.

It’s a very good place to stay, close to the ski lift and with almost every comfort. For small spills, though, there were no cleaning supplies like a dustpan and brush. We also came across some unexpected charges when we arrived that had to be paid in cash, which felt a bit unusual. The mattresses needed replacing. Bedsores.

The Alpine, rustic furnishings were nice, and while the place felt a bit cramped, it was OK overall. It’s also close to the lift. Still, the bathroom and toilet not having locks is hard to understand. The listing says it sleeps eight, but two people would be in a connecting room and another two on a small sofa bed in the living room. The nearly €160 final cleaning charge, about €2/sqm, was worthless. It seems to advertise a cheap premium, then doesn’t deliver, and the price gets pushed up significantly through the back door.

The living room balcony was really nice, and there are two different slopes about a five-minute walk away. The apartment was lovely, new, clean, and bright.
