We stayed here in summer 2023, but wouldn’t recommend it. The view is nice, but that’s about all. The room, and especially the breakfast, didn’t meet our standards. One piece of well meant advice for the owners: there’s a time to work and a time to retire.

The owners are friendly and happy to suggest trips, and the rooms are nice. It’s a pleasant, quiet location. I’d gladly recommend it.

There’s a lovely view of Melk Abbey from the spot under the big tree, and you can grab a drink from the fridge there. Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of choice. I arrived late, but the hosts called the restaurant for me so they’d know I was running behind and could still get something to eat. They were very welcoming, and there’s a garage where you can lock up your bike. Thanks for looking after me.

We had a spacious double room looking out toward Melk Abbey, and the hosts were so friendly. Breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade apricot jam. We could keep our bikes in the garage, too.
