We spent a week here with the family and used it as a base for our trips. The owner was so kind, helpful and willing to chat that we quickly felt at home, especially over breakfast. The breakfasts were excellent and generous. Ms. Soňa deserves a mention too. She works here, complements the owner perfectly, and gave us lots of great ideas for places to visit. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday. Greetings!

The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful, and breakfast each morning was delicious. Our room was tidy and clean, with beds that were very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back soon!

The area is beautiful, and the hosts are wonderful people. The woman we met in the evening was very friendly, and the man serving breakfast in the morning was just as kind. The guesthouse itself is pretty standard, warm and comfortable, with a lived-in feel that’s quite different from a corporate hotel chain.

Breakfast started at 0730, right on time, and was excellent. Meat and cheese, rolls and bread were already laid out at our table, and we could ask for extra meat or cheese if we wanted. What we were given was plenty for us. The owner served breakfast and was very personable. We had some nice chats with him during our two-night stay while exploring the Salzburg Lake Region. Our room was very clean and fairly spacious by European standards. The queen-sized bed was comfortable, and we slept really well. This is a traditional bed and breakfast inn in Tyrol. There’s no restaurant in the house, but Gasthof Botenwirt is right next door and serves very good traditional Austrian food, so it’s an easy walk. We had a very good stay. It’s a real gem in this mountain area.

The rooms and facilities are nicely kept, and they make you feel at home. Still, there was no soap in the toilets, no lift, no porter service, and no drinking water in the room apart from tap water. It’s in the mountains, though not too far in, about a 30-minute drive from the lowlands.
