We decided on a spontaneous dinner out and weren't sure we'd get a table, but we were lucky. We parked just outside the hotel, and the waiters and receptionist were so nice. They made the evening a great one. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, the food was very good, and the price felt fair. Thank you, we'll visit again. I gave the rooms five stars too so as not to affect the rating, though I can't say from experience, I'm sure the hotel is very good.

After a long ride in the rain, this was such a lovely place to arrive at. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Everyone was friendly, especially our server, whose name I didn't catch. I remember him as the “Serbian.” He was fun to talk to. The property is really nice too. I'd happily stay here or stop in for dinner.

The peaceful sound of the nearby river added a lovely touch to my stay at Hotel “Alte Post” Gasthof Gostilna Trattoria in Feistritz an der Gail. I found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the hotel's mix of traditional character and modern touches made for a welcoming retreat after exploring the Gail Valley. The staff were warm and attentive, and the traditional food at the restaurant was delicious. I also enjoyed relaxing in the day bar and cellar bar. The modern spa area, with its sauna, sanarium, and solarium, was a great place to unwind after a day out. With easy access to the Nassfeld ski area and Lake Pressegg, it's well placed for both outdoor activities and a quieter getaway. A memorable visit, and one I'd recommend.

Alte Post is well maintained and has the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were immaculate, and the food was delicious, with a varied menu for different tastes. The atmosphere felt warm and cozy, and the staff were both professional and welcoming throughout. We had a delightful, memorable stay at Guest House Alte Post.
