The service is the biggest problem: it felt cold, inattentive and amateurish, and at times embarrassing for a hotel that claims to be among the Alps' best. The bar was especially poor, with disorganized, disengaged staff who lacked the warmth, professionalism and attentiveness you'd expect from luxury hospitality. I felt like an inconvenience instead of a welcome guest. I travel often and stay at luxury hotels around the world, and this place is nowhere near the level its prices suggest. It seems to rely on its history and the nostalgia around Princess Diana's stay decades ago. You can tell it was once exceptional when the original owner built it, but today's generations seem to be living off their grandfather's reputation. The attempt at a heritage atmosphere too often comes across as outdated and complacent. Luxury means caring for guests and getting the details right. Stories from the 1990s and a famous guest list don't make up for that. Across Europe, there are much better luxury hotels for this kind of money, with stronger service and management and a far more refined experience. This place may once have earned its legendary standing, but now it feels like a family business coasting on inherited fame.

A gorgeous little boutique hotel, with a lovely atmosphere and so much attention to detail. The staff are amazing, always ready to help and support you. Highly recommend it if you want to make the most of your skiing.

The kids' club was a highlight for our children. Lilli, the coordinator, brought so much energy to the crafts, games and creative fun. She was attentive and kind, made each child feel special, and ours still talk about how much fun they had. Manager Pascal also deserves special mention. He helped us find the right room for our family and was warm and helpful throughout. The whole team's care and attention made us feel valued. The food was a delight at every meal, and the facilities had everything we needed and more. We recently came back from a magical family holiday at Hotel Arlberg Lech. The stay was flawless, and this gorgeous hotel is already becoming a family tradition for years to come. The team deserves five stars in every category. We left with incredible memories and can't wait to return. Thank you, Hotel Arlberg!

Stopped in for a drink after skiing. The hotel setting is fantastic, and the service was very good.

The pool was a real disappointment. There's no pool service or food by the pool, which feels unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. After long hikes, we wanted to sit poolside and order food and drinks, but had to go to the outdoor bar ourselves to get drinks. Food was only allowed on the restaurant patio, not by the pool. That really tainted the experience and is why we gave four stars instead of five. We had a few other minor issues, but overall enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed, a great modern bathroom, lovely shower, good lighting and a smart TV. It overlooked the planted green roof above the restaurant, which smelled strongly of what seemed to be cow manure used as fertilizer. We couldn't use the balcony or open the door at night for cool air. We didn't complain or ask to move, but it's worth mentioning. The spa was clean, relaxing and fun, though I wish the main area had a cold plunge. There's one only in the family and women's section. The property itself was beautiful, with a lush, well-kept garden, a great pool and incredible views. The indoor bar was cozy and historic, with a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly, attentive and always smiling and joking, and everyone spoke English.
