The spa was phenomenal, though the saunas and plunge pools only ran from 4 to 7 pm, which left a short window to use them. A few times they weren't switched on when they should have been, so we ended up waiting after skiing. Breakfast was decent, and the food service was lovely and efficient. Our first room was extremely dated and didn't even have a mirror, so we asked to change after one night. The replacement was spectacular, sleek, and modern. There's a huge difference between the rooms, so check carefully when booking. The location in oberlech is wonderful, just a 3-minute walk from the gondola and ideal for ski-in, ski-out. Marco and Ralph, thanks for making our stay so wonderful. You went above and beyond, and you're the best! :)

Ralph, the manager, made us feel so welcome, and everyone went out of their way to help. The service was impeccable, and everything felt in order and nicely balanced. I've never been so comfortable in a hotel. It almost felt like being at home, which is rare for me. This boutique hotel made the whole stay stress-free. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

We had a great three days at Hotel Burgwald. Ralph and Marco at reception gave us really good dinner and ski recommendations, and we loved the spa and breakfast too.

We loved the sleds at Hotel Burgwald. The kids had a blast riding them all the way down to Lech, then taking the cabin lift back up. Oberlech was a beautiful, peaceful base, with fantastic hotels and restaurants. Hotel Burgwald is a charming, intimate place with warm, attentive staff. Breakfast was a daily highlight, fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. We had dinner there a few times, including for my wife's birthday. The team even surprised us with a lovely bottle of sparkling wine on the house. We spent a week there in late February 2025 and loved every moment. A big thank you to Ralph, the hotel manager, and the whole team. We can't wait to come back!

We've stayed in lots of five-star hotels, but the service at Hotel Burgwald really is incredible. Ralph, the hotel manager, and his staff made us feel at home, which matters most to us. You'll see us again when we book our next ski trip! 👏🤩
