Motel by Maier Feldkirch - kontaktloser Check-in

The rooms have a small kitchenette with a fridge, hob and dishwasher, and even a couple of dishwasher tablets. The location is in a quiet part of town near some shops and a nice café. It was easy to find, and there's parking on site. Check-in is through a screen in the entrance, but you have to check in online first through your email. We used the place as a base to ski at different resorts over four days. St Anton is less than an hour away. Totally recommend.

Around 9 AM, a staff member or someone else came into my room while I was still asleep and woke me. That's unacceptable. The entrance check-in system was broken, and although I reached someone by phone, they didn't apologize.

We booked 2 rooms on BOOKING.com with a group of friends, but on arrival we were given only 1 and waited over 2 hours for the second. That room was in terrible shape, with rubbish on the floor, broken glass bottles, rotten food and leftovers all over. It clearly hadn't been cleaned before we got it. Basic cleanliness and professionalism were the least we expected, and this fell far short. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone looking for comfort, safety or decent service. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. After nearly 2 hours, we finally got into the second room, only to find it filthy, with no clean towels and trash and alcohol waste everywhere. We had booked 2 rooms on booking.com, but the single self check-in machine kept saying our booking wasn't there, and we could only get into 1 room at first. No one answered the hotline when we called at 9pm, so we contacted booking.com. I want a full refund. Guys, don't bother booking this hotel. Disaster!
