Hotel Kiwano

The rooms were clean, everything was new and safe, and the people working here were very friendly. The food was delicious too. A great place, and we'll come back. Thank you.

Easy check-in, clean rooms, and a nice location. A great spot for a short or long stay in Graz.

The service was top notch, really friendly and always there before you even knew you needed anything. The all-you-can-eat buffet and grill were fresh and delicious, with reasonable prices. I'll definitely go again!

We didn't like much about the stay. The bed was nice and the bathroom was large, and the room came with a so-called balcony and a massage chair, though we didn't test whether it worked. You could also pick up food from the nearby restaurant to eat in the room. Still, it was seriously overpriced. Calling the view a garden view is a stretch unless an untreated patch of weeds counts as a garden. The so-called junior suite was just one large room, with squeaky floors. It was around 200F inside, and even after switching on the air-conditioning, the room didn't cool down all night. Check-in took a long time because the person handling it had to be called over from another place. There was nobody in the "reception" until someone called them in, and the language barrier was pretty obvious. Parking was first come, first served, with very few spaces shared with the restaurant in the same building, so finding a free spot was a matter of luck. The room above the restaurant smelled strongly of the Chinese kitchen. There was no wifi password available. Breakfast cost extra, and although a buffet was advertised, it wasn't available. You had to order even eggs one at a time, and the waiter forgot ours. Everyone kept smiling and responding politely, but that didn't help when things still weren't working out. Water pressure was close to zero, making it impossible to shower or even wash my hair.
