Gästehaus Waldeck

The breakfast was delicious, and the food was presented with real creativity. The rooms are stylish, which you don't often find in a guesthouse, and the setting comes with beautiful mountain views.

Breakfast came arranged on a plate for each guest, with a varied mix of cheese, ham, salami, fresh vegetables, fruit, and little snacks. The mountain views are lovely, too. Guesthouse Waldeck has the feel of a boutique hotel, with lots of care in the details. Each room has its own design and coordinated colors, and the hostess's personal touch gives the place a special charm. The beds are comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep. A real haven to unwind in, and highly recommended.

Thanks for such warm hospitality. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, with a comfortable, well-kept room and a breakfast that had everything we could want.

The mountain and ruins views were stunning, and the owner had plenty of excursion tips and was always happy to chat. She was thoughtful and attentive, and we felt very welcome. Everything, from the rooms to the shared areas, was clean, cared for, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast deserves five stars, with individual requests accommodated and every detail handled carefully. We felt so at home that we'd book again in a heartbeat. I can't understand how anyone could find fault here. Even a large hotel with lots of staff wouldn't give you this level of service. A huge thank you for an unforgettable stay.
