The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me plan a hike and checked whether the boats across the Danube were running. Breakfast was generous and tasty, including their homemade marmelade. We were sad to leave after such a nice stay. We spent three nights at Gästehaus Heller in Wachau. Our room was spacious, with big comfortable beds and plenty of room for clothes, and it was cleaned perfectly every day. The location is wonderful, just under the church in the town center. There’s free parking for guests.

The guesthouse does a great job of trying to make your visit to Weißenkirchen as good as possible. We were there on an exceptionally hot day, so naturally the room was hot at night and would have been better with air conditioning. Apart from that, it was basically faultless.

It’s peaceful and quiet here, and private parking is available. The breakfast is very good and more than adequate. The guesthouse is clean, cozy, and right in the center, with a warm, welcoming feel. You feel personally cared for and at home as soon as you arrive.

We spent a wonderful week here with perfect weather. The scenery is magnificent, with excellent hiking and cycling trails. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice.

Everything in the village is quick and easy to reach from Guesthouse Heller, which is centrally located. Mrs. Heller is very friendly and attentive to her guests’ well-being, and breakfast has everything you could wish for. The rooms are clean. My only suggestion is to illuminate the hallway light switches, since they’re hard to see in the dark.
