The pool was a nice bonus, and the restaurant served excellent food in generous portions at fair prices. The staff were very welcoming, and the hotel is well set up for cyclists, so I'd recommend it. The rooms are more mixed: the detached wing felt a bit too basic, while the ones in the main building reminded me of a campsite.

After leaving the disgusting Gasthof Ratz on the spur of the moment, we found a great room here. The innkeeper was very friendly, a typical Carinthian with a typical sense of humor. Our room was cozy, though quite small, and just right for one night. Everything was clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom, with its toilet and shower, was tidy and very well maintained. There's a huge pool out front and a very spacious garden that also serves as a campsite. The food and drinks at Gasthof Schütz were very good and reasonably priced, and breakfast in the morning was a large buffet. I don't know what happened with the other guests, but I really have nothing negative to say about this inn.

The meals were well prepared and delicious, whether we ate in the beer garden on a nice day or in the restaurant when the weather wasn't good. The pool is lovely too, with several sun loungers. We stayed at Radcamping Schutz several times before or after our trip to Croatia. It's a small, simple campsite, with little shade unless you're by the pool. The staff, especially the owner, weren't very friendly, so we moved to another campsite.
